About Renee
Renee McCormick’s journey into real estate is deeply ingrained from her upbringing in North Atlanta, where her family’s legacy in the industry shaped her passion and expertise. With parents who once led one of Georgia’s largest mortgage brokerage firms, a mother who excelled as a broker, and siblings who specialized in legal and appraisal fields, Renee was immersed in real estate from an early age.
After dedicating time to marketing within the industry, working as a mortgage loan processor, and marrying a custom builder, Renee transitioned her skills into nonprofit development. For over twelve years, she’s helped raise millions for nonprofits in Fulton and Cobb Counties, demonstrating her care and commitment to her community. Renee brings her unique skill set, compassion, and professionalism back to her roots in real estate.
Renee is a member of the Cobb County Association of Realtors, has served as an ambassador to the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, is an active member of the Marietta and Kennesaw Business Associations, and is proud to be part of Janice Overbeck's winning team. Renee has two grown daughters and resides in Marietta with her husband and little dog, Frodo Baggins.
